The Peninsula Men’s Mentoring Circle is a weekly practice of awareness and consciousness of our inner landscape, and how we share ourselves in the world around us. What we get from and how we contribute to the society around us in which we define ourselves as masculine. It gives us the opportunity to contribute to the growth and maturity of other men, while we ourselves benefit from our contribution. It is a place where youth, mid-lifers, and elders can come together in an environment of mutual …
The east coast "edge" isn't really the same when few people "get" your sarcastic sense of humor and direct communication style. This meetup is for the east coast transplant looking to find other native east coasters in the Bay Area.
Welcome! Why not join us for a few hands of cards. Many of us played Euchre in the Midwest and others have learned here in California at one of our meetups. The game is social, easy to learn and pleasantly competitive. (The two losing hands change tables and switch partners after each game). Our members are also interested in Pinochle and the occasional cribbage meetup. We talk about other card games but don't seem to get around to playing them. Our events are hosted by our members in tavern …

Looking to start a new group for East Coasters (ages 30-50) that have moved to the West Coast. I am from NY (43 years old) and miss my East Coast friends. I live in the East Bay and would love to meet some fun people who still have that East Coast mentality. :)

This is a group for Atlanta natives (or anyone who lived in and loves the A) who have relocated to the Bay Area. We love Cali, but just can't find people quite like our Atlanta crew - we have a very unique sense of humor and do the tomahawk chop all summer. If you wanna meet and hang out with fellow former-Atlantans, this is the group for you!
We are between the ages of 24-39 and moved to SF from Canada. We say "eh", miss proper healthcare, Kraft Dinner, poutine and smarties. Our mandate is to get together and enjoy the city, drinks Caesar's and Molson Canadian, exchange advice (apt searching in this city is more frustrating that sitting on the DVP in traffic) and make new friends. Welcome! Bonjour!
We came from Minnesota or the Midwest and are now in San Francisco/the Bay Area. We meet up at various places in the city to talk about MN and other things we love. We go on random adventures. We sometimes eat too much butter.

As an East Coast transplant I miss those lively, intellectual conversations with my witty, sarcastic, well-travelled, well educated cosmopolitan friends and San Francisco is too far from my South Bay base. I envision a group of bright, open minded, outgoing and opinionated "women of a certain age" who get together to talk about everything from their travels, trials and tribulations to politics and ethics and well ... life. We'll wine and dine, attend cultural events, enjoy all that the Bay Area …
